Desert Gardening
Although deserts are typically considered to be very unfavorable for any kind of vegetation due to the acute shortage of water, there are some kinds of flowers and plants that can be very successfully grown in the deserts. These plants are usually bushes with thorns and comparatively smaller leaves leading to less perspiration. Also, over hundreds of years these plant species have adapted themselves according to the desert climate in such a great manner that usually these plants need a very less amount of water to exist, and have a strong immunity against adverse conditions.

Humid Weather Gardening
The regions encountering hot climate with high levels of humidity are usually not very favorable for the health of both animals and plants. If you belong to such an area and wish to grow your own garden, there are some vital things that you will have to keep in mind. First of all, the plants you intend to grow in these regions must be hard plants. Apart from it, the time of their sowing must also be well thought upon as sowing them at inappropriate time might lead to damage caused by caterpillars and insects which are very prevalent in these regions.

Cold Regions
If you inhabit in a hilly or cold weather region where you encounter chilly winds most of the year, you need to keep some things in your mind before you step in to grow your own garden. There are some plants that be grown easily in winter climate, and you can choose these species for a high success rate in your gardening. Also, some plants don't need a lot of water to grow, which might be useful for you as you don't get a lot of underground water everywhere in the hills. If you particularly want to grow some plants that need higher temperatures than available, building a greenhouse is a real good option that you must consider to adopt. Greenhouse preserves the heat energy going inside it, and retains the temperature inside at higher levels, providing your plants a favorable atmosphere to live and grow successfully.
